Our October Chai Adda was with a twist. We took the opportunity to bring together our members and friends to help with fundraising for our upcoming halloween party. 

We planned to use Halloween as a theme to discuss cultural appropriation and gender stereotyping through our cooking class. We reminded our community about the early voting and the ballot questions as well, in almost all our chai addas we also focused on our voting rights .This month’s Chai Adda was used as an opportunity to know our members  opinions about a worker’s food joint coop and we we talked about our entrepreneur skills. Every member came up with the country specific delicacies and volunteered to showcase those recipes to the larger audience.
