- Connect people with legal assistance for employment related issues (such as wage theft) and immigration matters
- Provide training in organizing, job searches and related skills
- Create avenues for income generation, including Workers Co-ops

Chai Conversation is an essential part of SAWC. It is a bi-monthly meeting at a member's place, where members meet over 'chai' or tea and discuss the future course of action in areas needing immediate attention.
